Hotel Rooms Have Been Blocked

I know some of you have been anxious to find out if we have blocked hotel rooms and if so where. So here's the info I have so far. I still need some more info from one hotel, but I thought I'd post what I had so far.

Rooms blocked for any or the following dates, choose what works for you. The cutoff date for reservations is 1/24/13. All reservations must be made prior to the cutoff date. Once rooms are released from group block the hotel will not guarantee availability. There is no guarantee the rooms will be in proximity to each other. Check in is 3pm, check out 12pm. The hotel cannot guarantee early check in. Late check out are charged an additional fee.

The other hotel where we blocked rooms is the Best Western Plus in Concordville PA. Rooms have been blocked for 2/14/13, 2/15/13 and 2/16/13.  Rooms include Non-smoking double, Handicap Double, Non-smoking King, Non-smoking Executive King, Non-Smoking King Suite.

MEET THE WEDDING PARTY: MAID OF HONOR, KATE

Meet Kate, Carly's sister and Maid of Honor. They laughed, they played, and yes, they fought, but in the end, sisterhood trumped any discord.

On her special day, Carly chose Kate to stand up with her as she marries David.

Meet The Wedding Party--Junior Groomsman, Shane

Carly and Dave thought long and hard about who would be in their wedding party. Carly chose her sister, Kate, Dave's sister, Lisa, and her friend Dionna.

Dave chose his son, Shane, and his brothers Andrew and RJ. Get to know them over the next few posts.

First, Dave's son, Shane.  Dave and Shane have a special bond unique to a father and son. See Shane and Dave having fun in the video below. I understand they are both planning on wearing a more formal look for the wedding... but you won't be able to miss the groom and his most junior groomsman, Shane.

How We Met

Carly and Dave were high school sweethearts! They dated for about six months and then split up (you know how high school is.) They went to each others dances (her soph hop, his junior prom) but then they went their separate ways.

Dave moved to another school district, Carly stayed in the old one, and sometimes absence does not work it's potent magic. They each moved on, Dave moved on with his professional life, Carly went on to college and then to teach school.

They ran into each other once in awhile on the bus (SEPTA has much to answer for in this relationship!) Then one day, (you know how they say a great place to meet singles is in the grocery store?) Well they're right! Carly and Dave ran into each other in the bread aisle at the Acme!  By the time she got home her phone was ringing, and it was Dave asking her for a date.  Now his ring is on her finger and they're on their way down the aisle to say 'I Do!'

Dave surprised Carly with an engagement ring at his Christmas Party (these two do love ballrooms and parties!) So they're having their reception in a ballroom too.  Ever since that fateful night of the Christmas party, they've been wedding planning like mad so their wedding day will be one to remember. They look forward to sharing it with you.

Things are finally coming together. Our guest list is finalized and save the dates have been sent out. Look for them in your mail in the next week or so.
